Trash/recycle/yard waste must be at the curb by 4:30 am on collection day.
Please do not place your trash out before 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on the evening before the pickup day.
The trash/recycle/yard waste collections and rules differ slightly for Stonecreek and Painter’s Hill/Copperwood.

- Trash : collection Mondays AM and Thursdays AM
- Recycling : collection Wednesdays AM
Holiday Schedule (No Collection)
- New Years Day
- Memorial Day
- 4th of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
If Trash/Recycling collection occurs on one of these Holidays, the collection will slide to the next day.
Trash Reminders
- Use trash cans with lids or use heavy duty dark plastic bags, particularly when the turkey vultures are roosting in the community (November through March).
- Do not put your trash out before dusk on the evening prior to the pick-up day.
- Put your house number and street on your trash cans/recycle bins
- Bring in your trash cans/recycle bins at the end of the day
- Do not store your trash cans/recycle bins at the front of the house
Bulk Pickup
- The City of Annapolis will take bulk items that can be handled by two men. NOTE: THIS SERVICE IS ONLY FOR STONECREEK residents.
- There is NO bulk pick-up for Painters Hill and Copperwood residents. Please take bulk items to the Anne Arundel Landfill in Millersville MD (about 10 miles away) or join with your neighbors to share the cost of a junk removal service. If you leave a bulk item at the curb, you will be charged by the HOA for removal.
